Coachella Valley born and raised Abi Carter graduated from Horizon and CSUSB with a degree in psychology. She was raised by her single mother in a full home with six other siblings. Abi has played the piano since she was about eight years old. As her passion for music grew, she gained support from her piano teacher and continued with lessons.

The support for Abi was tremendous as she has performed at the McCallum Theater and at the VillageFest in Palm Springs. With her skillset Abi received a platinum ticket from the judges that moves her into the next stage of  American Idol. In an interview Abi has shared that she loves playing covers but has cracked the formula to writing music and has taken her lessons into songwriting. 

With music in her blood as her mom was a singer, Abi has taken the hearts of the judges with her performances.
