The High School Battle of the Books took place on Thursday March 7. The participating teams were Indio High, Amistad, Summit, Palm Desert High School, and La Quinta High School. The teams gathered in the fall and were required to read 4-5 novels chosen by the judges. The students had 5-6 months to then read and together create questions about the novels. Those questions were then submitted and asked duing the competition. 

La Quinta High School won the competition.
