PDHS Film Program

A few months ago we were informed that Palm Desert High School’s CTE FILM and broadcasting program along with teacher Joe Martin and some of his students would be traveling to New York City as they were finalists in the All American High School Film Festival. Two of their films were selected and were shown during the festivities on October 9 and 10.

Their broadcast journalism entry– highlights of their daily broadcast - was in the top three, and the documentary on the Salton Sea was in the top ten. Congratulations to both teacher Joe Martin and the students who participated in the submissions.

Entry 1: Noah Allen (Graduated), Angela Jara (Senior), Marissa Tillie (Senior), Lauren Trippeer (Senior), Nathanael Severin (Senior), Bradley Gilbert (Senior), Mason Moorhouse (Senior)

Entry 2: Opal De La O (Graduated), Stefan Pejovic (Graduated), and Sebastian Garcia (Graduated).

Amazing job to these young adults, we at DSUSD are extremely proud of your accomplishments!
